Live, Learn and Enjoy is the U3A Maitland motto. Our not-for-profit community group offers a variety of courses and social activities for people in the Maitland NSW area who are looking for something extra to do with their spare time.

Trivia

This one is Wednesday 27 September at CWA Hall  $2 per person, which  goes into prize pool can bring a friend who is not U3A if you want. Don’t need to be on a table we will organise that.  But if you have a table of friends that’s fine.  Light refreshments.  10 am to 1 pm.

Bus Trip To Gloucester

Tuesday 10th October 2017

Bus departs Maitland Station at 8.45am
      returns approximately 3.30pm
Cost $39.00pp includes morning tea at Stroud.
   Lunch at Gloucester, bring / buy your own 

We journey to historic Stroud for morning tea at the Crepe Myrtle café. We then continue our journey to Gloucester where a local guide from the historical society will board our coach and give us a guided tour as we explore this beautiful area. We will then stop for lunch and meet our friends from Gloucester U3A. We then have a guided tour of the Gloucester historical museum before returning home.

Cruise Information Session

Wednesday 29th September at 10.00am

Repertory Theatre


John Thacker and Gloria from Newcastle U3A will conduct an information session on 
ONSHORE EXCURSONS.


This will be of interest to those booked on the New Zealand Cruise in November however is open to all those who are thinking of cruising in the future, family and friends welcome.

Choir Group

The group meets Tuesday between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm and we have vacancies for Term 4.
Singing has so many health benefits, apart from improving your vocal chords.
The group is led by Maree Farrely.

THURSDAY THINKERS meets once a month and has special guest speakers on a whole range of topics.
Come along and bring a friend (U3A Maitland non-member) and enjoy the discussion.
 

Coffee Club

Occurs the 2nd Wednesday of the month.
Enrolled members will be notified of location.

Lunch Club

Lunch club meets on the last Friday of each month.

Due to it’s popularity the Lunch Club is now fully booked and quite a few on the Waiting List for both Terms 3 and 4.
