Live, Learn and Enjoy is the U3A Maitland motto. Our not-for-profit community group offers a variety of courses and social activities for people in the Maitland NSW area who are looking for something extra to do with their spare time.

Writing For Pleasure

Rhonda Mackey and Brenda Proudfoot have both had stories shortlisted in the Newcastle Herald Short Story competition. One shortlisted story is printed in the Herald each day and the winners will be announced on January 27.

Thursday Thinkers

PLEASE NOTE.THERE WILL NO THURSDAY THINKERS in FEBRUARY 2018 as the first Thursday of the month falls in our holiday break. Details of our first speaker will be posted in January.

Coffee Club

Occurs the 2nd Wednesday of the month.
Enrolled members will be notified of location.

Lunch Club

Lunch club meets on the last Friday of each month.

Due to it’s popularity the Lunch Club is now fully booked and quite a few on the Waiting List for both Terms 3 and 4.
